Payment Policy & Payment Plan
50% of the initial quote is due before work on your project begins. We can work out a payment plan, but work will not start on your project until I have been paid 50% of the initial quote. At that point, I will confirm with you, then begin the project as planned. If you decide that you do not want to continue the project before I’ve begun your project, you will be charged a cancelation fee. Please see “Cancelations” below for more information. Refund Policy Due to the nature of the design work, I do not offer refunds or returns on any of my deliverable products. Since my work is custom to you and your specific needs and are made to order, they will not be refunded. However, if you discover an issue with your files, please contact me immediately so it can be resolved, but keep in mind that each purchase you make is final and binding. You choosing to go to another designer after the work is complete or having buyers remorse is not grounds for a refund. Cancelations If you cancel your purchase or choose to go to a different designer after making the initial payment before work is initialized, I will refund you 75% of the total quoted price. For example, if you owe $1000 for the entire project and pay $500, I will keep $250 for a cancelation fee (25% of the total). This is to cover my in-house costs of booking your project over booking a full-project client. If your project is started and I do not hear back from you about your project for 10 business days, your project will be terminated and you will not receive a refund. See the “Communication Policy” below for more information. Revision Policy All of my design projects come with 3 included revisions. Any additional revisions will add a fee of $25 to your final payment. If revisions are required after delivery of final files, those revisions will not be completed without prior payment. Transfer of Ownership Until payment is received in full, ownership of files belongs to the designer, Madison Reynolds, under United States copyright law. Once payment is received in full, ownership will be transferred to the paying client. At that point, the client can trademark their logo or register it officially with the United States Copyright Office. Infringement of copyright is theft. Using the logo without payment is subject to fines up to $100,000 USD per piece through U.S. Copyright law. Website Design Policy If you purchase my Golden Goose package, I offer assistance in designing a website for your business. Weebly and Wix are both web providers that have free versions, but you are responsible for any fees if you decide to use the paid versions instead and purchasing your domain name. You will create the account, and I will use your log in to edit your website. Communication Policy I will be consistently updating you on the status of your project regardless of your selected package or other requested project. I am in the process of creating a client portal that will make the communication even easier. If this process is completed during the timeline of your project, I will shift our communication to the portal and alert you of the change. If communication ceases, and I don’t hear from you for 10 business days after beginning your project, your project will be terminated and your initial payment will not be refunded. Project Timeline The timelines of all of my projects are approximate. I cannot guarantee a certain turnaround time because it will be dependent on revisions and client responses. On the other hand, your project may be completed before the estimated timeline. If the project runs smoothly and communication remains consistent, your project should be done in the estimated timeline provided. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
